Heat Pumps
Heat pumps extract ambient heat from the air, ground or water and “pump” it indoors to provide space heating (and often hot water), running on electricity rather than fossil fuels. Modern air‑source heat pumps can deliver three to four units of heat for every unit of electricity consumed, making them up to 400% efficient. Ground‑source (geothermal) heat pumps can be even more stable in performance, since ground temperature remains relatively constant year‑round but capital outlay costs are much higher. Beyond high efficiency, heat pumps reduce carbon emissions, qualify for government incentives (currently £7,500), and can be paired with solar PV to approach net‑zero energy use. They can also offer reverse‑cycle cooling in summer if connected to a well designed system with suitable control.
MVHR
Mechanical Ventilation With Heat Recovery
MVHR systems provide continuous, balanced ventilation by extracting stale, humid indoor air and replacing it with filtered fresh outdoor air - while recovering up to 90% of the heat from the outgoing air. This heat‑exchange process means homes stay well‑ventilated (reducing condensation and indoor pollutants) without the heat losses typical of simple extractor fans or trickle vents. MVHR units run constantly at low power, often as little as 30–50W, and can have seasonal boost modes. Properly commissioned and ducted, MVHR improves air quality, helps control mould, preserves building fabric, and dovetails with highly airtight, energy‑efficient envelopes required for Passivhaus or other low‑energy designs.

We install SunPower Maxeon® panels, known for class‑leading efficiency (up to ~22–23%) and exceptional durability behind a 25‑year combined power and product warranty.
Each panel can be paired with microinverters or power optimisers to ensure module‑level monitoring, shade tolerance, and consistent output - even if part of the array is shaded
Using corrosion‑resistant rail mounts and low‑profile racking, your array will sit flush with your roofline for both performance and curb appeal.
Tesla Powerwall 3 Battery Integration
All‑in‑One Inverter & Storage: Powerwall 3 features a built‑in solar inverter, simplifying wiring and reducing the number of devices on your wall - ideal for sleek, compact installations.
Robust Energy Capacity: Each unit provides 13.5 kWh of usable storage, up to 11.5 kW of continuous power, and peak output of over 20 kW for critical loads.
Seamless Backup & Smart Controls: In the event of a grid outage, Powerwall 3 automatically switches to backup mode. Through the Tesla app you can set reserve levels, view real‑time status, and optimise self‑consumption or time‑of‑use arbitrage.
We handle the electrical liaison with your local utility for grid‑connection approval, and prepare all documentation.
After installation, we perform electrical inspections, system testing, and final commissioning so your system is fully compliant.

Underfloor Heating
Underfloor heating (UFH) distributes warmth evenly across the entire floor surface rather than via point‑source radiators.
Water based UFH is best paired with low‑temperature heat sources - like heat pumps or condensing boilers - maximising efficiency.
UFH delivers silent, draft‑free comfort, frees up wall space, and provides gentle radiant heat that feels more natural to occupants. When paired with smart controls and zoning, it offers precise, room‑by‑room regulation and can reduce overall energy bills by operating at lower flow temperatures.
German Plumbing Systems
Synergy are able to offer German‑engineered pipe systems (such as those from IVT Wurth) as these are renowned for precision manufacturing, durability, and ease of installation.
We can offer a full service using these products, which improves the quality of the water in your house, and the installation is leak free from day one due to the zero risk approach used in the fittings and tools.
